Insulation comparison
Rigid polyurethane has the lowest weight and the highest insulation value of any common building material. Compare the values, consider the energy savings. Sprayed polyurethane provides substantial advantages over traditional insulation materials as it fills gaps, seals against draughts, and eliminates thermal losses via fasteners and structural members. Polyurethane does not sag, pack down or absorb moisture, common causes of lost insulation efficiency.
